RONC SORELI - Friuli Venezia Giulia
Wine at RoncSoreli was first produced back in the 20th century. The 180-acre Ronc Soreli wine farm extends over the municipalities of Prepotto, Cividale and Corno di Rosazzo and is mainly engaged in the production of high-quality wines. The 108-acre vineyard is located on the hill facing the south-east side of Novacuzzo, a small village in the municipality of Prepotto. The top part of the vineyard is adjacent to the Bosco Romagno natural park and reaches down to the banks of the Judrio river, a natural border with Slovenia and the Collio area near Gorizia.
RoncSoreli is a member of Colli Orientali del Friuli, a consortium of winemakers in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region dedicated to the production of DOC wines and one of the most devoted to vine growing.
The cool and dry breeze brushing the river valley is an additional advantage of this area, whose micro climate is excellent for the ripening of grapes. The range of temperature is essential to create an array of aroma profiles typical of these wines.
