CASCINA BOSCHETTI GOMBA ROERO ARNEIS DOCG 2017
Since Summer is coming we are going to add few very enjoyable white wines taht will be perfect for the incoming hot season.
Seashells and sand are key to Roero Arneis. The best Roero Arneis wines taste like white melon generously sprinkled with sea salt. It’s a nice combination: you get the fruit up front, but the saltiness makes it a great food wine and fresh in the summer. Roero is just across the Tanaro River from Barolo and was underwater 70,000 years ago lending the perfect soil to produce Barolo quality white varietals.
Winery Cascina Boschetti GombaThe hills of Boschetti wine estate rise above the red roofs of the village houses and the proud merlons of the Falletti family castle, marquises of Barolo (1307-1838). The Nebbiolo vineyards of the Boschetti hills have belonged to the Gomba family for many years and are the only Boschetti cru of Barolo is produced by Sergio Gomba himself. As Barolo is the heart of the Langhe, so is Boschetti the heart of Barolo.
